My Travel Philosophy

“ A young man sets out to find Happiness.

On his quest, he encounters a wise Lion, who is willing to show him the road to Happiness. But only on one condition… When the young man finds happiness, he has to bring it back with him. If not, the Lion will devour him.

So it will be, the young man promised and set out on his search. He passed through forests and over mountains, crossing rivers and taking bumpy roads. And he still hadn’t found Happiness.

One day he met a beautiful Lady (could be both genders of course ;-). He spent some time together with this lovely person, discovering and exploring each other, It seems to be a perfect match…

The Lady begs the young man to stay with her/him forever. He would love to… but, alas, the young man doesn’t really have the Time. He has to get back to business and continue his quest for Happiness.

He continues his odyssey through landscapes and cityscapes…. And when he bumps into the Lion again on his journey – the young man is eaten. “

(a clever fairy tale, source unknown)

If there’s one aim for my Asia Trip, it is to avoid being Whiskas for big cats!

    MY travel (and life) philosophy:

    From Alice in Wonderland:

‘would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?’
‘that depends a good deal on where you want to get to’ (said the cat)

This thought from me to you, to carry with you under your way (and maybe come back with some answers :-)

    Good luck!

There is an answer to the question: “Where do you find happiness?”. Most people just do not want to admit that the answer could be that simple…
